It is very nice castle and good for an experience in the life. The only problem is there is no way to buy ticket bus to get a public bus to downtown. But, the view, the garden and the room are perfect. Our room had a private balcony that we had dinner looking to the sunset of Perugia.
The hotel should sell bus ticket in the reception.

Our stay here was spectacular. The castle has been maintained in excellent condition. The perfect blend of old and new. The grounds are absolutely breathtaking and the view in unbelievable. We only stayed for a couple of nights and we were so happy with the place and that we decided not to visit the town and just to lounge by the pool and soak in the gorgeous view. Absolutely world class accommodation. I would definitely return!
There was a wedding on the last night that we were there. We were not told that there would be a wedding and it was very loud for a couple of hours in the late evening and one of the restaurants was closed as a result. We expressed our disappointment and although the other restaurant was fully booked they accommodated us with a table and when we complained about the noise of the wedding they removed the charge for our 100 Euro dinner (the other restaurant is cheaper). I left very happy.

The castle is spectacular to walk around and it is in excellent shape. The views are breathtaking and the staff go out of their way to be helpful. Most speak enough english to be understood. February is not the best time to visit because you miss their lovely pool and outdoor courtyard. The food was very good and some unusual dishes that a foodie would appreciate.
The location is a bit hard to find and you need a car to get around. There are cabs, but they can be pretty expensive, even though the castle is not far out of town.
